NYT: Fishermen in Ecuador Report Attacks by English-Speaking Assailants

The New York Times reports that fishermen from Ecuador say they’re being attacked by English-speaking assailants using drones. According to the U.N., one fishing boat has been lost at sea since January, with eight people still missing and presumed dead. The survivors say the assailants wore matching uniforms with American flag patches. Some of the other fishermen say they’ve been dragged out of their boats, questioned and handed over to the El Salvador Navy before being released.
