Guardian: At Least 10 Hunger-Striking ICE Detainees Subject to Involuntary Medical Procedures

According to court records revealed by The Guardian, the Trump administration tried to subject at least 10 hunger-striking ICE detainees to involuntary medical procedures, including force-feeding. At least three — and possibly five — detainees were actually force-fed, while five others abandoned their hunger strikes at the last moment rather than be inserted with a tube through the nose and down the esophagus and into the stomach.
